3. Jan 01,  · The drums on this cd are very, very impressive, but on many of the songs the vocals aren't that great. I'd rather hear them chant in an african language instead of switching between english and the african language. Carlos Santana's guitar playing also really adds to /5(5).

7. Both Olatunji and his drums of passion were unknown to me when I discovered this CD. African folk music as well as world music in general was (and still is) just a budding passion. I was much more familiar with its' African-American decendents: the blues, jazz, hip-hop, and of course rock-and-roll/5(94).
