3. Mar 31,  · Fifth Dimension is a really uneven album and is mostly filler tracks, with just the few odd gems here and there. Also I don't really get the Byrds, I don't know what they are trying to be, The Beatles and The Kinks where doing much more interesting stuff, and it's amazing they become popular, I obviously missing something/5(K).

8. The Byrds 3rd official release (5-D) was a turning point for the band. Minus a critical member (Gene Clark) they redirected themselves and carried on as a 4 piece. Even with solid songs like "Eight Miles High", "Mr Spaceman" and "5-D (fifth dimension)" some of the lesser tune-age on this album could stand a bit more work/5.
